BRAD Announces New Label Partnership With Razor & Tie

BRAD ANNOUNCES NEW LABEL PARTNERSHIP WITH RAZOR & TIE

Regan Hagar, Stone Gossard, Keith Lowe And Shawn Smith Celebrate The BRAD Brotherhood On New Studio Album, United We Stand Due Out April 24, 2012

West Coast Tour Dates Announced

Full BRAD Catalogue To Be Re-Released Later This Year On Razor & Tie In Multiple Expanded Configurations

Listen To The New Song "A Reason To Be In My Skin" HERE

(New York, NY) - Razor & Tie announces the addition of Seattle's BRAD to its roster for a new North American deal. The long-time Northwest underground favorites features core members Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam) on guitar, vocalist/pianist Shawn Smith (Pigeonhed and Satchel), drummer Regan Hagar (Satchel and Malfunkshun), and bass player Keith Lowe (Fiona Apple and David Sylvian).

BRAD has completed work on United We Stand, a brand new studio album set for release on April 24th 2012. Comprised of 10 tracks, longtime fans of the band will find much to love on United We Stand as BRAD's reflective, unique song writing approach is intact with Shawn Smith's soaring vocals cascading over songs like "A Reason To Be In My Skin," "Needle And Thread" and "Bound In Time."

"After 20 years as a band, BRAD's brotherhood remains intact and vibrant. I couldn't be more excited about our latest opus," explains BRAD's Stone Gossard. He continues, "A year and a half in the making, United We Stand (our fifth record) is our combined and loving collaboration. We hit all the stops, down beat grooves, soaring vocals, and riffs galore. We're in this bad boy for the long haul people. So get ready."

Shawn Smith adds, "Thankfully, as a band, or more importantly as individuals, we have not lost our spark, our desire to do more than just 'get er done.' The new record is a testament to a band in its 20th year, a band that started with three friends getting together one afternoon to jam. The approach was a little bit different than in the past, with plenty of time to try stuff out and then to step away for awhile and return fresh to see what felt good and what didn't. That's the key in my book, how does a song feel? This collection of songs feels really good to me. I expect nothing less."

In addition to the band's new album, Razor & Tie has licensed BRAD's entire back catalog and will re-release the band's previous studio albums Shame, Interiors, Welcome To Discovery Park, and Best Friends? along with the compilation, Satchel Vs. Brad. The catalogue albums will be re-released in multiple deluxe configurations beginning later this year.

Debby Ryan New Video "We Got The Beat" Premiered Exclusively On Vevo.com

DEBBY RYAN'S NEW VIDEO "WE GOT THE BEAT" PREMIERED EXCLUSIVELY ON VEVO.COM

Soundtrack For Disney Channel's "Radio Rebel" Released On February 14

(New York, NY) Debby Ryan's new video for "We Got The Beat" off the soundtrack for the Disney Channel Original Movie "Radio Rebel" premiered exclusively at VEVO.com - view HERE. The single is now available for purchase on iTunes HERE. Ryan's cover of the 80's hit (originally performed by The Go-Go's) is the first video from the "Radio Rebel" soundtrack. Fans got a sneak peek of the video on February 13th during a Disney Channel 90 second exclusive. "Radio Rebel" premiered on Disney Channel February 17 at 8/7 PM CT with multiple re-airings to follow.

Razor & Tie Entertainment released the soundtrack for the Disney Channel Original Movie "Radio Rebel" on February 14. The 14 track album includes brand-new pop songs performed by Disney Channel star Debby Ryan ("Jessie," "16 Wishes," "Suite Life on Deck") and the cast of the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Radio Rebel". The soundtrack features Ryan's cover of "We Got The Beat" and her original composition "We Ended Right."

In the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Radio Rebel", Ryan plays Tara Adams, an introverted high school junior who can't bring herself to speak in class -- and especially when the newly-popular rocker Gavin is in her midst. Tara can't imagine anything more intimidating than when her Drama teacher teams her in class with Gavin and his prom date, the school's cliquish queen bee, Stacy. Her shyness at school notwithstanding, alone in her room at home, Tara casts herself as Radio Rebel and, as host of a nightly podcast, showcases her passion for music and self-expression and her message to abandon cliques and celebrate each other's differences. Radio Rebel quickly gains fans on campus -- especially when her show lands on a big, local radio station -- much to the chagrin of the school's principal who considers Radio Rebel and her message to be in clear defiance of the school's "anti-distraction policy." Meanwhile, Gavin raves about the mysterious host and her taste in music but still, shy Tara - now oddly jealous of her alter-ego - can barely finish a sentence in front of him. As students clamor to learn the identity of Radio Rebel and the show's popularity extends across Seattle, Tara's two worlds begin to collide, reaching an apex when Radio Rebel is nominated prom-queen and the school, in turn, bans prom, causing a backlash from her fans. Now, Tara wrestles with two even bolder moves -- organizing an alternative to the prom and revealing that she is Radio Rebel.

18 Year old Debby Ryan currently stars on the Disney Channel's latest hit series "Jessie," where she plays the title character of Jessie, a Texas girl who becomes a nanny for a wealthy New York City family. Ryan has played opposite Selena Gomez on "Wizards of Waverly Place" and Miley Cyrus on "Hannah Montana," and is best known for her starring role as Bailey Pickett on the smash Disney Channel series "The Suite Life on Deck." She also starred in the 2010 Disney Channel movie "16 Wishes" which premiered to an audience of 5.6 million viewers, and appeared in the 2010 independent film "What If..." alongside Kevin Sorbo, John Ratzenberger and Kristy Swanson.

The soundtrack features music from several new budding artists, including Kari Kimmel's song "Brand New Day." Her music has been featured in over 150 films and TV shows including "Private Practice," "Dreamgirls," "Gilmore Girls" and "10 Things I Hate about You." In 2011, Kari recorded the title track to the remake of the film "Footloose" alongside Grammy-nominated country star Blake Shelton. The GGGG's, The Barrymores and Above Envy are just a few of the other artists featured on the Radio Rebel soundtrack.

LEGENDARY PROG ROCKERS EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER (ELP) AND RAZOR & TIE ANNOUNCE EXCLUSIVE NEW CATALOG PARTNERSHIP FOR NORTH AMERICA

LEGENDARY PROG ROCKERS EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER (ELP) AND RAZOR & TIE ANNOUNCE EXCLUSIVE NEW CATALOG PARTNERSHIP FOR NORTH AMERICA

Greatest Hits Compilation The Best Of Emerson Lake & Palmer: Come & See The Show Available Now

(New York, NY) - Razor & Tie has signed Emerson, Lake & Palmer to an exclusive new multi-year, multi-rights licensing deal for North America. Razor & Tie will re-issue ELP's prestigious back catalogue with the first release, The Best Of Emerson Lake & Palmer: Come & See The Show available now for purchase on iTunes and in traditional retail outlets. The best of, 14-track compilation includes some of the band's most beloved compositions including "Lucky Man," "From The Beginning," "I Believe In Father Christmas," and the full 9-minute version of the classic, "Fanfare For The Common Man."

A full catalogue re-issue campaign will kick off later this year with the release of newly expanded, re-mastered, editions of the band's first six albums: Emerson, Lake and Palmer (1970- Studio Album), Tarkus (1971- Studio Album), Pictures At An Art Exhibition (1971- Live Album), Trilogy (1972- Studio Album), Brain Salad Surgery (1973- Studio Album), and Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Ladies & Gentlemen (1974- Live Album).

Razor & Tie will actively seek licensing opportunities for the catalog and set up a new direct to consumer store which will feature an array of newly created limited-edition items.

"As Emerson, Lake & Palmer remain unique in their categories, it's only fitting that they are now with a record company with a unique name like 'Razor & Tie'," explains Keith Emerson. He continues "Don't question anything as the music speaks for itself and 'Razor & Tie' yells volumes on ELP's behalf." Carl Palmer offers, "The time was right to make this move. It's a great, enthusiastic music company." Greg Lake also enthuses, "We are looking forward to a long and productive relationship together."

Razor & Tie co-owner Cliff Chenfeld adds, "We are very excited and honored to distribute and represent the Emerson Lake and Palmer catalog. ELP helped create prog rock and we will use this opportunity to bring ELP's amazing body of work to an even broader audience and to finally understand what the Tarkus album cover means."

Considered by many to be one of rock's original first super-groups, Emerson Lake & Palmer formed in England in 1970 consisting of Keith Emerson (keyboards), Greg Lake (bass guitar, vocals, guitar) and Carl Palmer (drums, percussion). The band created a brand new world of music, combining classical and symphonic rock fused with beautiful vocals. Their penchant for appropriating themes from classical music and the group's more nuanced, textured approach to symphonic arrangements set ELP apart from their more bombastic guitar-based contemporaries of the time. This subtler and more sublime approach carries on today in the expansive atmospherics of Radiohead and Muse and also in the prog-influenced sphere of band's like Porcupine Tree, Dream Theatre, Opeth and many others, making ELP one of the more relevant torchbearers of the progressive rock sound. Along with Yes, King Crimson, Genesis, and Rush, Emerson Lake and Palmer ushered in the Prog era and as one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1970's having sold over 40 million albums. ELP's dramatic flair, sincere passion, labyrinthine song structures, and symphony-worthy virtuosity proved that classical rockers could compete for arena-scale audiences as the band headlined stadium tours around the world.

The Best Of Emerson Lake & Palmer: Come & See The Show, Track List:
1. Karn Evil 9: 1st Impression - Part 2

NONPOINT ENTERS STUDIO WITH PRODUCER JOHNNY K NEW ALBUM RECORDING NOW UNDERWAY

NONPOINT ENTERS STUDIO WITH PRODUCER JOHNNY K NEW ALBUM RECORDING NOW UNDERWAY

BAND CONFIRMS NEW MEMBERS/LINE-UP

(New York, NY) - Florida rockers Nonpoint have entered Groovemaster Studios in Chicago with Grammy nominated producer Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind, Megadeth) to begin work on their forthcoming seventh studio album. The new album (the band's first for Razor & Tie) will be released later this year.

Founding members Elias Soriano (vocals) and Robb Rivera (drums) are also pleased to welcome 3 new members to the Nonpoint family: Dave Lizzio (guitar), Adam Wolosyzn (bass), and Rasheed Thomas (guitar). All 3 members come from Chicago-based rock act, Inn Cinema.

Elias Soriano comments, "We're proud to officially announce the new members of Nonpoint. Dave Lizzio, Rasheed Thomas and Adam Woloszyn have been chased by bands in the Chicago area for years and somehow by a stroke of luck and timing, we now have three of the freshest, most talented players on our team. These guys are great players and even better people. From day one, the new writing process has been full of great ideas and open minds, and now adding Johnny K into the formula has Robb and I very excited. After listening to the demos, Johnny K said, 'It's easy to find someone to play guitar for a band. It's hard to accomplish what you have by finding Dave, Rasheed and Adam, and that's finding people who can write amazing riffs.' From that point on I knew: This new lineup and record will be epic in the chronicle of Nonpoint. ONWARD AND UPWARD!!"

Formed in 1997, Nonpoint has since released eight full-length albums and one live album selling over 750,000 albums in North America. With over a decade of extensive road work under their belts, the band has toured with All That Remains, Mudvayne, Papa Roach, Sevendust, Disturbed, Flyleaf, Buckcherry, Drowning Pool, Stone Sour, and Hell Yeah and graced the stages of Ozzfest, Rock On The Range and Summerfest. Additional career high marks include "Bullet With A Name" peaking at #22 on the Active Rock charts as well as being featured on the game "WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007" and in the 2007 film The Condemned. The band's cover of Phil Collins' "In The Air Tonight" was the theme song for the movie Miami Vice and also landed them on the Mainstream Rock charts.

Dave Barnes New Studio Album, Stories To Tell, Now Available For Pre Order

DAVE BARNES NEW STUDIO ALBUM, STORIES TO TELL, NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE ORDER

Single "WhiteFlag" Also Available For Purchase

(New York, NY) - Grammy nominated singer songwriter Dave Barnes' upcoming new studio album, Stories To Tell, is available now for pre-order. Stories To Tell is set for release on March 13th and features 11 new tracks produced by John Fields (Lifehouse, Switchfoot, Goo Goo Dolls, Jonas Brothers, P!nk). Barnes will hit the road on March 15th for a string of headline tour dates in support of the new album (tour dates below).

The single "White Flag" is also available now for purchase and goes to Triple A radio on February 27th. Barnes' is no stranger to commercial radio success with his last single "God Gave Me You" peaking at #21 at Adult Contemporary and #72 at Hot AC (Blake Shelton's version of the song peaked at #1 on Country Radio).

Dave Barnes recently received his first Grammy nomination for Best Country Song for "God Gave Me You," as performed by Blake Shelton from Shelton's 2011 album Red River Blue. Barnes' and Shelton's versions of the song have sold over one million singles to date and the song has had enormous success at radio.

Stories To Tell is Barnes' fourth studio album for Razor & Tie and a first for Barnes on many levels. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer John Fields, marking the first time Barnes has recorded outside of his home town Nashville, TN. Leaving everything familiar behind with his writing and recording processes forced Dave to venture outside of his creative comfort zone. Stories To Tell also presents a stylistic departure from his previous releases. Adding more programming and synth sounds than previous Barnes' albums, Stories To Tell, did not suffer from rules and restrictions when it comes to instrumentation. The electronic flourishes on this album add dynamics that are not typical when it comes to most singer-songwriters. Using orchestral accents, syncopated percussion alongside his soulful, impassioned vocals, the album introduces Barnes' fans to eleven finely tuned and honestly crafted songs with a strong pop sound. An artist that has never adhered to a specific genre, Barnes' music is generally inspired by an array of music influences ranging from rock, pop and country to blues, soul and R&B.

Nashville-based Dave Barnes' last album, the 2010 release What We Want, What We Get, features the Grammy nominated song "God Gave Me You." This album debuted at #59 on the Billboard top 200 album chart, #17 on the Billboard Rock Chart and #15 on the digital albums chart. Barnes has sold over 155,000 albums to date and over 600,000 individual song downloads. Dave has toured with notable acts including John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Bonnie Raitt, and One Republic as well as festivals such as Bonnaroo. His music has been featured in television shows such as CW's "Life Unexpected," Disney's "Suite Life On Deck," ABC's "Brothers And Sisters" and WB's "Summerland," as well as the films Employee Of The Month and My Super Ex-Girlfriend. Dave Barnes songs have been covered by a bevy of other artists including, country singers Blake Shelton and Billy Currington as well as Marc Broussard, Kelly Clarkson, Bethany Dillon, to name a few. Barnes has been recognized by the industry as a rising songwriter. Billboard Magazine touted "Many of the best pop songwriters come out of Nashville, and Dave Barnes is one such singer/scribe now building momentum." Dave Barnes is signed to leading independent label Razor & Tie and is administered by Razor & Tie Music Publishing.
