MADINA LAKE DEBUT NEW VIDEO FOR "HEY SUPERSTAR" ON GUITARWORLD.COM TODAY

MADINA LAKE DEBUT NEW VIDEO FOR "HEY SUPERSTAR" ON GUITARWORLD.COM TODAY

First Single Off New Album "World War III" Due Out September 13 On Razor & Tie
Group Launches Pre-Order Now On http://www.indiemerch.com/madinalake

After a tumultuous year, Chicago-based alternative rock group Madina Lake are gearing up for their third album, World War III, due out on September 13 on Razor & Tie. The album's release is preceded by the single "Hey Superstar" and video which premieres today (August 30) via the Guitar World magazine site: GuitarWorld.com and here at http://www.vevo.com/watch/madina-lake/hey-superstar/USRZR1130517. The performance-based clip cleverly juxtaposes the song's ethereal textures which bleed into propulsive guitars before the anthemic hook takes hold. Madina Lake teamed with director Andrew Bennett for the video which depicts the group's DIY attitude and the main concept running throughout World War III: survival and triumph through the unexpected curveballs of life. Fans can pre-order special edition versions of the new album starting today via: http://www.indiemerch.com/madinalake.

Given the events of the last year, Madina Lake--twin brothers Nathan (vocals) and Matthew Leone (bass, vocals), Mateo Camargo (guitar, programming), and Daniel Torelli (drums)--have gone through a war and came out fighting on the other side, invigorated, the group is now up for any challenge. In June of last year, bassist Matthew Leone was severely beaten when he attempted to intervene in a domestic violence incident and stop a man beating his wife. Even though the man was twice his size, Matthew immediately intervened and subdued the attacker, but as he waited for police to arrive the man turned on him and beat him severely before leaving Matthew unconscious on the street. In critical condition, his injuries included a fractured skull, broken jaw and a brain so swollen the doctor had to remove one-third of his skull while waiting for the swelling in his brain to go down. The attack created an outcry and groundswell of support from national and local musicians--including fellow Chicagoan Billy Corgan--who came together to raise funds for Matthew's hospital bills as his medical insurance had lapsed. On July 27, 2010 The Smashing Pumpkins performed a benefit show for Matthew at The Metro in Chicago which raised over $80,000. The group forged a fast friendship and Billy teamed up with the band in the studio for World War III.

"Billy surpassed our expectations of what kind of artist and man he is," explains Matthew. "We went to Sedona for a retreat while Billy was working on new music for The Smashing Pumpkins; we didn't think we'd end up actually working together," he adds. "He took us hiking through one of the desert vortexes, which are power zones...We had one of the most rewarding philosophical conversations about life and music. On day six, he said, let's work on a song together, and that's where 'Imagineer' was first born. His influence on the track is undeniable." Other World War III highlights include the haunting and hypnotic "The Great Divide," "We Got This" which is Nathan's uplifting tribute to Matthew, and "Howdy Neighbor" where Nathan's unabashed fury is realized in an unadulterated open-letter to Matthew's assailant.

2011 sees the group coming full circle in multiple ways with a full tour in the works; dates are spaced out for the time being to give Matthew rest in between shows and next month, Matthew's attacker will have his final sentencing in Chicago on September 6. "You can survive anything," Nathan says. "Life throws things at you that you can't fathom surviving, but you can, you must. If someone feels that after listening to 'World War III,' we've done out job."

ROCK LEGENDS FOREIGNER CREATE 'NO LIMITS' THEME SONG FOR TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY WITH 'HOT BLOODED' REMIX

ROCK LEGENDS FOREIGNER CREATE 'NO LIMITS' THEME SONG FOR TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY WITH 'HOT BLOODED' REMIX
Remix Of Foreigner Hit Song To Become Focal Point Of Speedway's "No Limits" Marketing Campaign
Free Song, Ring Tone Downloads Available At www.texasmotorspeedway.com
Foreigner Also To Release New Three-Disc Set, "Feels Like The First Time", on Sept. 13

DALLAS, Texas - There truly are "No Limits" to the relationship between legendary rock-n-roll band Foreigner and Texas Motor Speedway.

Foreigner and Texas Motor Speedway collaborated on a remix of the band's hit song, "Hot Blooded," that incorporates lyrics supporting the speedway's "No Limits" marketing campaign and NASCAR racing in general. The song, which will be known as "Hot Blooded-No Limits," was unveiled to a throng of fans and special guests Tuesday evening during Texas Motor Speedway's 2012 Schedule Announcement Party at Gilley's Dallas. A free download of the song is available at www.texasmotorsspeedway.com.

Texas Motor Speedway plans to feature the remix of the chart-topping hit in its 2012 television and radio event advertising; position it as the theme song for race weekends and special events; offer downloads and ringtones of the song to its fans; and engage in further discussions with the band on additional ideas to utilize the speedway-specific anthem. Foreigner has pledged to donate royalties from the song in continuing support of Speedway Children's Charities for whom the band has raised thousands of dollars as part of its NASCAR relationship.

"A couple of years ago we introduced one of the most legendary rock-n-roll bands of all time, Foreigner, to NASCAR and they fell in love with the sport and the 'No Limits' attitude at Texas Motor Speedway," Gossage said. "Now we have entered into a unique creative arrangement with their legendary leader Mick Jones, lead singer Kelly Hansen and the guys in the band. They have rewritten one of the classic rock songs of all time. 'Hot Blooded' is now 'Hot Blooded - No Limits.' Who would have thought - Foreigner, No Limits, Texas Motor Speedway - all together. They just cut the song in the studio and it's hot for race fans. It's been cool to work with them on this project."

"Whether we are watching the race start from our friend (and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver) Carl Edwards' pit or playing our set for the fans on the start/finish line, the thrill of a Texas Motor Speedway event is a real rush," said Foreigner's leader and founder Mick Jones, who performed with the band for a NASCAR pre-race show at Texas Motor Speedway in April 2009. "It truly is Hot Blooded - No Limits."

The 4-minute, 10-second song opens as the traditional "Hot Blooded" smash hit, but at the 1-minute, 15-second segment lead singer Kelly Hansen begins the "No Limits" verses.

Now it's up to you, we can make a secret rendezvous Just me and you, I'll show you racin' like you never knew

Now there's No Limits, check it and see
Hear my engine turning one ninety three
Come on baby, why don't you take a chance?
It's No Limits, No Limits

If it feels alright, maybe we can race all night
Shall I leave you my key?
But you've got to give me a sign, come on now, some kind of sign Tell me, should we start revving? Yeah, that flag looks green to me

Now it's up to you - fender grindin' is what we're gonna do
If your timing's is right you can see the checkered flag tonight

Now there's No Limits, check it and see
Hear my engine turning one ninety three
Come on maybe you'll be lucky tonight
It's No Limits, No Limits

Hansen then closes the song with a shout-out to NASCAR legend Richard Petty with the verse of "Richard Petty is King. Yeah, this racin' is my thing."

"Hot Blooded" was released as a single in July 1978 and reached a high of No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart by September. The single, from the seven-time Platinum album "Double Vision," was certified Platinum (one million units sold) by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Texas Motor Speedway is allowing fans the opportunity to download the song for free for 24 hours beginning this evening on www.texasmotorspeedway.com.

To coincide with the release of Foreigner's new album Feels Like The First Time, "Hot Blooded-No Limits" will soon become available at iTunes where charges are applicable.

A free download of a special ring tone of "Hot Blooded-No Limits" will be available on the speedway website beginning this evening and throughout 2012. Fans also will be able to share the song from the speedway site with their friends through social networks Facebook and Twitter.

Rock legends Foreigner will release a new three-disc set, Feels Like the First Time, on Sept. 13 through Razor & Tie. The set includes two audio discs - CD One: Acoustique: The Classics Unplugged and CD Two: Juke Box Heroes: Brand New Digital Recordings of Foreigner's Greatest Hits and one live concert DVD: Live in Chicago. The three-disc set will be available exclusively at all Walmart stores and Walmart.com with additional various digital configurations available on digital service providers (iTunes, Amazon, etc.). Foreigner is currently on tour with Journey and Night Ranger through October 2011.

More than 30 years after releasing their first multi-platinum album, Foreigner's music resonates globally across generations with album sales exceeding 70 million. An impressive run of 14 Top-20 hits includes worldwide number one hit "I Want To Know What Love Is,"
"Cold As Ice," "Double Vision," "Head Games," "Urgent," "Waiting For A Girl Like You" and video-game staples such as "Hot Blooded" and "Juke Box Hero." Foreigner's tours continue to electrify audiences and establish the group in its rightful place as one of the top touring attractions. Formed in 1976 by English rocker Mick Jones, the current lineup includes: Jones (lead guitar), Kelly Hansen (lead vocals/percussion), Jeff Pilson (bass guitar), Tom Gimbel (guitar/saxophone/flute), Michael Bluestein (keyboards), and Mark Schulman (drums).

KEVIN DEVINE'S NEW ALBUM BETWEEN THE CONCRETE & CLOUDS (SEPTEMBER 13TH) NOW AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER HERE

FAN PRESALE BUNDLES ALSO AVAILABLE HERE

DEVINE TO HEADLINE TOUR THIS FALL WITH SUPPORT FROM AN HORSE AND THE FEATURES

SPIN.com Previews First Single "Off-Screen" HERE

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Kevin Devine's upcoming solo album, Between the Concrete & Clouds (Razor & Tie), is now available for preorder on iTunes. Fans can also order exclusive presale bundles available HERE in a variety of tiers, with the ultimate package including the album on both CD and vinyl, an instant download of "The First Hit" and the lyrics of one song handwritten by Kevin himself. Kevin Devine will head out on a headlining tour this fall with support from The Features on the first leg (9/6 - 9/20) and An Horse on the second leg (10/6 - 10/23). The tour will kick off on September 6th in Pittsburgh, PA at Club AE, concluding on October 27th in Toronto at The Drake Hotel.

This week SPIN.com premiered the exclusive first listen of "Off-Screen," the new single off Between the Concrete & Clouds. "Devine layers his vocals atop the thick crescendos in the chorus...It's not just the vocal arrangements that are expansive. Sonically, the new album takes advantage of the Goddamn Band, his six-piece backing ensemble," SPIN.com.

Known for his acoustic musings, Between the Concrete & Clouds shows a sonically and technically different side of Devine - fully backed by a band for the first time, a fact he says had an inspired impact on the final product. Without losing his lyrical density, Kevin explored the technical side of creating structurally more traditional pop songs, evident in the shorter tracks on BTC&C.

Devine has received numerous accolades from press and fans alike over the span of his nine year career. His discography includes several EPs and live albums, as well as past full-lengths Circle Gets the Square (2002), Make the Clocks Move (2003), Split The Country, Split The Street (2005), Put Your Ghost to Rest (2006), Brother's Blood (2009), and Bad Books (2010), a side project Kevin worked on with Andy Hull and other members of Manchester Orchestra. Kevin has played with top artists including Bright Eyes, Manchester Orchestra, Okkervill River, Earlimart, and many more, and has performed at the following festivals: Coachella 2010, Bonnaroo 2010, Bamboozle 2010, Lollapalooza 2009, Austin City Limits 2007, and Soundwave 2008 (Australia).

ATTILA'S NEW ALBUM "OUTLAWED" AVAILABLE NOW

ATTILA'S NEW ALBUM OUTLAWED AVAILABLE NOW

EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE OF "SMOKEOUT" VIDEO TODAY ON HAILSANDHORNS.COM

Band On All Stars Tour This Summer

Attila's new album Outlawed (Artery Recordings / Razor & Tie), is now available both in stores and on all digital service providers. Download the album now from iTunes HERE. Outlawed reached the #3 spot on the iTunes Top Rock Albums Chart yesterday, right behind Chimaria and in front of new releases from Trivium, Breaking Benjamin and others. These ten brand new songs from Atlanta's party metal band are the heaviest, fastest, nastiest and sickest the band has ever created. Attila is on the All Stars Tour this summer and join Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Sleeping With Sirens and Memphis On Fire this fall on the Rock Yourself To Sleep tour (dates to be announced shortly).

HailsAndHorns.com is exclusively premiering the video for "Smokeout" today. Watch the video HERE.

Outlawed was produced by the legendary Joey Sturgis (The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexadnria, We Came As Romans), and it flaunts the band's gritty, fast-talking, swagger-heavy music that they have become known for. "The new album grabs you by the throat and holds your attention from beginning to end. It's like a high speed police chase, you won't be able to stop listening to Outlawed!" said frontman Fronz.

Party death metal rockers Attila formed in their hometown of Atlanta in 2005, meeting each other at their high school and through mutual friends. Their mutual love of music (and partying) brought the guys together to form what would eventually become the fourth band on the Artery Foundation/Razor & Tie joint venture, Artery Recordings. When the guys set out to name their newly formed band, they knew they were looking for a simple, one word name that didn't imply the typical death metal cliche terms such as "blood, dying, and darkness." One day they found themselves in a bookstore passing around a book about Attila the Hun, and so Attila was born.

Artery Recordings is the label home to The Artery Foundation and an imprint of independent label Razor & Tie, whose roster now includes Chelsea Grin, Vanna, Attila, I Declare War, A Bullet For Pretty Boy, Close To Home, The Crimson Armada and Casino Madrid. A management company since 2004, The Artery Foundation has a knack for finding diamonds in the rough and nurturing them into worldwide prominence. Some of their recent artists flooding the Billboard charts have included Top 40 releases with The Devil Wears Prada and Attack Attack!, Top 100 releases with Alesana and Breath Carolina and additional artists such as Asking Alexandria, Jonny Craig and Dance Gavin Dance.

SAVES THE DAY NEW ALBUM, DAYBREAK, NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER ON iTUNES HERE

"DAYBREAK" OUT SEPTEMBER 13th

SAVES THE DAY AND BAYSIDE TO CO-HEADLINE TOUR THIS FALL

Saves The Day's new album: Daybreak (Razor & Tie), due out on September 13th is now available for pre-order on iTunes HERE. Forerunners of the emo scene since their inception in 1997, Saves The Day are one of the few that have survived the test of time for almost fifteen years. The band will begin a US tour with Bayside in October (tour dates here).

Daybreak will be available in two version on iTunes: Standard and a Deluxe iTunes LP which features an exclusive, 22-minute documentary titled "Finding Daybreak," and two bonus audio tracks. The documentary will cover the story of the trilogy that Daybreak concludes. A Daybreak teaser is now available to watch on the Saves The Day YouTube channel, featuring a clip from "Finding Daybreak," view here: http://youtu.be/7hdsopOhYR8. An exclusive FYE version of Daybreak will include a second disc of all album tracks performed acoustically.

Produced by Marc Jacob Hudson (Two Tongues, Chiodos) and Saves The Day, the much anticipated Daybreak is the final piece of a three album concept trilogy that started with the 2006 release Sound The Alarm and the 2008 release Under The Boards. "Sound The Alarm is an expression of discontent. Under The Boards is reflection and remorse. Daybreak is acceptance," explains Chris Conley. "Daybreak wraps up the challenges we wrote about on the previous two albums and transcends the pain those songs were about by facing the fear and angst that comes in this life and tiring it into growth and positive change." The first single from the album will be "Deranged & Desperate."

Saves The Day formed in 1997, releasing their debut album Can't Slow Down in 1998 and followed by Through Being Cool in 1999. 2001's Stay What You Are spawned the memorable "At Your Funeral" as the band continued to evolve and grow. 2003's In Reverie peaked at #27 on the Billboard Top 200, becoming the third Saves The Day album to chart on the Billboard Top 200. In 2006, the band began its concept trilogy, which is now being completed in 2011 with Daybreak. Saves The Day is Chris Conley (Vocals/lead guitar), Arun Bali (Guitar), Rodrigo Palma (Bass) and Claudio Rivera (Drums).

VANESSA CARLTON JOINS MATT NATHANSON ON FALL TOUR!

Appearances on Conan and CBS Saturday Morning This Week!
New Album Rabbits on the Run Out now!

Vanessa Carlton has announced that she will be joining Matt Nathanson on a coast-to-coast U.S. Tour this fall. Kicking off on September 25th in New Orleans, LA, the tour comes on the heels of the release of Vanessa's acclaimed new album, Rabbits on the Run, out now on Razor & Tie.

Tune in this week to get a preview of Vanessa's live show with two television performances. On Wednesday, August 17th Vanessa will perform on Conan and on Saturday, August 20th she will take the stage on CBS Saturday Morning. Vanessa recently played her first single "Carousel" on The Today Show as well as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Praise for Rabbits on the Run:
"A lovely sort of melancholy magic." - Entertainment Weekly
"Rabbits on the Run is Vanessa Carlton's career high water mark thus far, especially on the stunning "Hear the Bells" and "Dear California", a disarming love letter to the Golden State." KCRW's Chris Douridas
"Vanessa Carlton again demonstrates her knack for pensive, piano-driven pop on 'Carousel' from Rabbits on the Run." -People
"Singer and pianist Ms. Carlton has long aspired to a different brand of pop stardom: less navel-baring ...and more melodramatic, heavily arranged pop symphonies." -The New York Times
"Wistful, piano-led balladry, but there's a touch of darkness and complexity on display here that wasn't as apparent on her earlier hits... she's certainly not just another sensitive girl with a piano..." - RollingStone.com

Rabbits on the Run is the most honest and uncompromised album Vanessa Carlton has recorded to date, revealing a striking departure and an exciting snapshot in the evolution of this exquisite storyteller and inventive musician. The album was recorded in the UK at Peter Gabriel's world-renowned Real World Studios with producer Steve Osborne (U2, B-52's, KT Tunstall, Doves). The album finds Vanessa returning to music-making its most organic form to create ten intimate, evocative songs, recorded directly to tape with her close-knit team of collaborators including Steve Osborne, Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket, and Ari Ingber of The Upwelling (all playing on the album). Partly inspired by two books, Richard Adams' Watership Down and Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time, Rabbits on the Run is 10-song set of gorgeous, haunting melodies and finely-crafted stories, including the lush first single "Crousel," the ambient and eerie "Hear the Bells" and the propulsive "London."

To all the fans who called in requested us, our label for working so hard, and the program directors and stations who listened, we can't thank you enough. It's pretty cool to be in All That Remains. Thanks so much," All That Remains lead singer Phil Labonte.

SAVES THE DAY & BAYSIDE ANNOUNCE FALL US CO HEADLINE TOUR

SAVES THE DAY & BAYSIDE ANNOUNCE FALL US CO HEADLINE TOUR
NEW SAVES THE DAY ALBUM DAYBREAK OUT SEPTEMBER 13th
BAYSIDE'S NEW ALBUM: KILLING TIME IN STORES NOW

Saves The Day & Bayside are excited to announce their fall co-headlining US tour. Sure to be one of the hottest tickets this fall, the tour kicks off on October 6th in Philadelphia, making stops in 31 cities across the United States. I Am The Avalanche and Transit will open all shows; both of whom will have new albums out in early October.

"We are thrilled to be touring this fall with our good friends in Bayside," commented Saves The Day lead singer Chris Conley. "We'll be playing a bunch of new songs in support of our new album, Daybreak, as well as all the old songs you're dying to hear."

"I have to keep re-checking my emails to make sure I'm not imagining this tour," remarked Bayside lead singer Anthony Raneri. "It is for sure one of my favorite line ups. I've been listening to Saves The Day since high school and they're still one of my favorite bands ever. I have followed Vinnie from I Am The Avalanche since his Movielife days and have loved everything he's done with Avalanche. It's safe to say that without Saves The Day and Vinnie's work, there would never have been a Bayside. Not to mention they are some of my best friends now. Absolutely can't wait."

Tickets for all shows will go on sale on Thursday August 18th at Noon. An exclusive online Pre-Sale will begin at Noon this Friday. Visit: http://bayside-savestheday.ducatking.com for more details.

For Saves The Day, the tour will serve as the launch of their upcoming new album Daybreak (Razor & Tie), due out on September 13th. Forerunners of the emo scene since their inception in 1997, Saves The Day are one of the few that have survived the test of time for almost fifteen years.

Bayside's most recent album, Killing Time, was released by Wind-Up Records on February 22, 2011. The album debuted at #35 on Billboard's Top 200 charts and has received amazing reviews. Killing Time is the band's 5th studio album and first for Wind-Up. Known for their extensive touring, Bayside wrapped a European tour with A Day to Remember in January 2011 and the following month flew to Australia to take part in the Soundwave Festival. This past spring they hit the road as one of the headliners of the Take Action Tour. Presented by Hot Topic, the tour also included Silverstein, Polar Bear Club, The Swellers and Texas in July.

Maxim Magazine raved about Killing Time: "Take one part Weezer tunefulness and one part Nirvana aggression, add a dash of Green Day's ambition, then shake, serve, rock out." The ten track album was produced by the legendary Gil Norton, who has worked with an amazing group of artists including: Foo Fighters, The Distillers, Jimmy Eat World and The Pixies.

SAVES THE DAY ANNOUNCE CO-HEADLINE UK TOUR WITH YELLOWCARD THIS FALL

NEW ALBUM DAYBREAK OUT SEPTEMBER 13th

Saves The Day are excited to announce that they will be heading to the UK with Yellowcard for four headline shows beginning November 28th in Glasgow. The dates will be the band's first full tour in the UK in seven years.

"After seven years away from Europe and the UK, coming back to tour with our friends in Yellowcard this autumn will be a gift," commented lead singer Chris Conley. "It will be a party and a pleasure to play each night."

"It is really a dream come true for us to be sharing the stage with Saves The Day, a band that has been such an influence on our music through the years," remarked Yellowcard Vocalist/guitarist Ryan Key. "The fact that it is for our first full headlining tour of Europe and the UK in five years makes it even more special."

Forerunners of the emo scene since their inception in 1997, Saves The Day are one of the few that have survived the test of time and a genre that they defined to be able to continue to release great records 14 years on.

The band's upcoming seventh studio album, Daybreak, is the final part of a trilogy that began with 2006's Sound the Alarm and continued with Under The Boards in 2007. "Sound The Alarm is an expression of discontent. Under The Boards is reflection and remorse. Daybreak is acceptance," explains Chris Conley. "Daybreak wraps up the challenges we wrote about on the previous two albums and transcends the pain those songs were about by facing the fear and angst that comes in this life and tiring it into growth and positive change."

Fast-forward to 2011, and Saves The Day is evolving once again. After a lineup change earlier in the year, the band hit the road rocking all their classic tunes with a brand new look. As Conley explains, "it makes sense that Daybreak features a new lineup, as thematically the album deals with coming back to Life with a renewed appreciation and attitude of perseverance and acceptance."

Now, that Saves The Day are ready to release the long-anticipated third part to the trilogy on September 13th, you get the feeling that a new day is truly breaking for them.

"Daybreak is both an ending and a new beginning," says Conley. "Daybreak comes back to life to say, 'we are here together and we can make it through."

US Tour dates are in the works and will be announced at a later date.
