Impending Doom and Of Legends will be supporting Norma Jean, with Stick To Your Guns joining the package starting March 3rd. The critically acclaimed metal band recently finished a successful run in the UK with Architects after spending the summer as part of Mayhem Festival.

The artistically chaotic sound of their 2010 release, Meridional, has certainly resonated with the metal community, as the album continues to receive end of the year accolades. Alternative Press named Meridional one of the Top 10 Essential Albums of 2010 and Cory Brandan as Best Vocalist in their MVRs (Most Valuable Rockers) of 2010. The album ranked in several other "Best Of" lists including Absolute Punk, BLARE Magazine, Frantik Mag and Metal Injection amongst others.

"We will be playing a lot of songs that we haven't played in a long time and some that have never been played at all, old and new. It will be one of the most eclectic sets we've ever played for sure," said vocalist Cory Brandan. "I think of any headlining tour we've done to this point, this is the show to come to if you are a true Norma Jean fan. Doesn't matter what record is your favorite, we'll be playing something from it. We're very excited and are working really hard to make sure it's going to be excellent."

Norma Jean released their fifth album, Meridional, to critical acclaim in July 2010. The five-piece metal band from Atlanta has previously released four records prior to Meridional, selling over 365,000 albums. The Grammy-nominated band is known for their aggressively artful sound which was once again delivered in their seethingly raw album, Meridional.

Nicole Atkins Record Release Moved To February 8
First Of Three Video Shorts Available Now
National Tour Begins February 9

Razor & Tie is delaying the release of Nicole Atkins' new record, Mondo Amore. The confirmed release date is now February 8. Last fall, Atkins, along with filmmakers Mandy Bisesti and Lucia Holm, created three cryptic and dreamy video shorts that cut to the core of the mood and tenor at the heart of Mondo Amore. The first of these, titled "You Were The Devil," is available now and can be seen

The critics have already begun to weigh in on Mondo Amore and the response has been excellent. Spin said, "There's no denying Nicole Atkins' voice," adding that, on the record, the "misty Jersey crooner revs up her psych-blues mojo," while Black Book exclaimed: "The singer-songwriter label does little to convey the depth of Nicole Atkins' powerful and hypnotic voice, which has invited comparisons to the likes of Janis Joplin and Etta James. Atkins was raised in New Jersey, where she spent her adolescence digesting classics by Pink Floyd, the Ronettes, and the Mamas & the Papas, a biographical nugget that makes itself heard in this eclectic, almost genre-less collection of songs."

Atkins and her band The Black Sea will be touring throughout the year. Her upcoming tour dates can be found at Cotton Jones will be opening all of the shows, except the Bowery Ballroom.
