Zune to Feature a Dedicated KIDZ BOP Music Channel Offering 100s of Popular KIDZ BOP Songs and Music Videos, as well as Exclusive Content
KIDZ BOP, the #1 music brand for kids ages 5-12 in the U.S., and Zune, Microsoft's end-to-end digital entertainment service and media player, have teamed up for a major fall kids' music promotion which launches today. HARD ROCKERS DAY OF FIRE TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM, LOSING ALL, JANUARY 26, 2010

Nashville based hard rockers Day of Fire's latest release, Losing All, is set to hit stores on January 26th 2010. The album features 13 ambitious, high energy rock songs, including the first single, "Lately." The Grammy nominated band has sold over 150,000 albums and performed for over 750,000 devoted fans worldwide. They have previously toured with Saliva, Cold, Rev Theory, Collective Soul, and recently hit the road with Daughtry, who also co-wrote three tracks on the new album. Nineties rock gave Day of Fire lead singer Josh Brown a muse, a voice and stardom. Then it nearly killed him. Now his band is giving the sounds that first inspired him new life on Day of Fire's third album Losing All, a powerful hard-rock record that explores the real meaning of rebirth.
Brown grew up in Jackson, Tennessee, where he picked up songwriting and a serious drug habit at age 15. Two years later he became the frontman for Full Devil Jacket, and at 22 he scored the big-time record deal. Jacket performed with Stone Temple Pilots, Papa Roach, Incubus, Slipknot, and Fuel as well as at Woodstock '99, but on his way to major success, Brown had a major crash: a heroin overdose in an Orlando bathroom put his career on hold while he rehabbed and rethought his life.
After several years out of the spotlight, Brown had a burst of inspiration, re-emerged with a new slate of songs and assembled Day of Fire - guitarist Joe Pangallo, his brother Chris Pangallo on bass, and drummer Zach Simms. Brown penned most of their 2004 self-titled debut in his mom's garage and the band wrote and recorded its follow-up, 2006's CUT & MOVE, during a brief break in touring. The two albums sold more than 150,000 copies combined, and a few short years later Day of Fire inked a new deal with Razor & Tie.

Video for "Chelsea" Debuts On
Today pop-punk rockers The Summer Set's first full length album Love Like This (Razor & Tie) is in stores and the video for the first single "Chelsea" debuts on MySpace Music. The band is set to kick off a fall tour with Cartel and This Providence on October 22 that will run through late November (full tour dates below).
Produced by Matt Grabe (The Maine, A Rocket to the Moon), Love Like This has additional production by Matt Squire (3OH!3, Taking Back Sunday, Panic at the Disco) and also features a track co-written with Dave Katz and Sam Hollander (Metro Station, Boys Like Girls, and Gym Class Heroes).
The Scottsdale Arizona The Summer Set formed in 2007 when brothers Stephen and John Gomez, still in high school at the time, decided to start a band with local friends Brian Dales, Jess Bowen and Josh Montgomery. The young bands music has quickly created a large fanbase selling over 20,000 copies of their first two independently released EPs and an online following with over 7.5 million plays and over 2 million profile views on MySpace. LEGENDARY SINGER SONGWRITER NEIL SEDAKA TO RELEASE FIRST NEW STUDIO ALBUM IN 10 YEARS, THE MUSIC OF MY LIFE, ON JANUARY 19TH 2010
ALBUM FEATURES DAVID FOSTER PRODUCED SONG, "DO YOU REMEMBER?"
(New York, NY) - Legendary singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka will release his first new studio album in over 10 years with The Music Of My Life on January 19th 2010. The new album features 12 songs written and co-produced by Sedaka himself as well as a new collaboration between Sedaka and Grammy winning Producer David Foster. This marks Sedaka's fourth release for Razor & Tie, following the successful 2007 Definitive Collection, 2008 holiday album The Miracle Of Christmas and 2009 children's album Waking Up Is Hard To Do. This past year Sedaka had a number of high profile television appearances and performances including Live with Regis & Kelly and The Today Show.
Celebrating six decades of songwriting and a monumental career, Sedaka remarks, "This might be my last set of pop songs, as I feel I can't top these. I am going full circle and returning to my classic roots."
The Music Of My Life showcases Sedaka at his finest with timeless melodies and superior song craft that reaffirms his relevance in a period of throwaway pop. The new album was recorded over a four-month period and was written for Neil's family and friends, exploring a wide range of moods and emotions. The lead track is the David Foster produced salsa infused song, "Do You Remember?" which has Neil performing in both English and Spanish. Sedaka enlisted the legendary conductor/composer Lee Holdridge to create string quartet parts for four songs - "Music of My Life," "Searching," "Waiting," and "How Can I Change Your Mind" - all of which were inspired by Sedaka's days studying to be a concert pianist at Juilliard. Always intrigued by the blues, Neil explores this musical genre on the song "Living In A Fantasy." The oldest song of the collection is "Right or Wrong," written with long time collaborator and Brill building alum Howard Greenfield when Neil was only 16 years old. Sedaka has never recorded the song before but was always enchanted by it and the idea of the 50's Doo-Wop sound, as he was one of the first Rock and Rollers to multi-track his own voice.
Neil Sedaka is acknowledged as a musical genius. He began his prolific career as one of the original creators of the "Brill Building" sound and is a seminal figure in popular music as a hit making artist whose recordings have visited the upper reaches of the Billboard charts. He has written for and been covered by artists through the years ranging from Peggy Lee, Patsy Cline, Connie Francis and Elvis Presley to the Fifth Dimension, Tom Jones, the Monkees and Cher even up to recent covers by Clay Aiken as performed on American Idol (on which Sedaka was a guest judge). Some of his beloved songs are "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do," "Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen," "Love Will Keep Us Together," "Calendar Girl," "Laughter In The Rain," "Oh! Carol," and "Solitaire." Having sold over 60 million records worldwide, Sedaka has garnered numerous honors throughout his career including a Grammy (and 5 nominations), a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, inductions into the Hit Parade Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame, BMI Awards and he even has had a street named after him in his hometown of Brooklyn, NY.
The history of Rock N' Roll would be incomplete without the innumerable contributions of Neil Sedaka. A Broadway show about Neil's music and life is in pre-production and is set to debut in London next year. In the meantime, Sedaka continues to tour the world and enjoys performing his beautiful enduring music.

NEW ALL THAT REMAINS VIDEO FOR "FOREVER IN YOUR HANDS" DEBUTS ON MYSPACE

All That Remains will debut their video for their latest single "Forever in Your Hands" exclusively on MySpace.com at www.myspace.com/metal starting on October 7th. The video will also air on an episode of MTV2's Headbangers Ball hosted by the band on the morning of October 18th at 2:00 AM ET. Filmed this summer in Washington DC while on the Mayhem tour, the video is directed by David Brodsky (Unearth, The Black Dahlia Murder, Suicide Silence) and features cameos by Adam D. and Joal Stroetzal of KsE, Shannon Lucas of The Black Dahlia Murder, and Byron Davis and Doc Coyle of God Forbid. The video will be available for sale on iTunes on October 13th. ATR will also be offering a free download of the song "Frozen" on the band's MySpace page. This song was previously unreleased in the United States and only available in Japan.
In other news the band's hit single "Two Weeks" is now featured on the Rock Band Metal Track Pack, a standalone disc available October 13th at retail stores nationwide.
