"The queen of kids' music is back . . .it's a fun ride." - People Magazine

"Super-talented . . . Awesome new album . . . She's one of our faves - and, oh yeah, our kids love her too." - Parents Magazine

"A big return . . . The current kid-music renaissance owes much to Laurie Berkner."
- Cookie Magazine

Award-winning, best-selling children's music superstar Laurie Berkner invites big and little fans to join her on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 8:00 P.M. (EST) for her brand-new webcast series, "Laurie's Musical Nightlight" on Laurie is the first notable children's singer to broadcast a webcast series. She'll sing a song, read fan mail and invite kids to send in pictures of themselves in their Halloween costumes, to be posted on the site. New webcasts will take place each month and will be archived.

Says Laurie, "I have been looking for a way to reach out to parents and kids in a more intimate and relaxed setting than I can at my concerts. These webcasts feel like a great way to do that. I love the informal and personal quality that comes with doing a short film from my couch! I hope that with continued feedback from fans we'll do even more varied and fun things with the webcasts in the future."

The Laurie Berkner Band with Susie Lampert and Adam Bernstein released their first new CD in six years, 'Rocketship Run,' (Two Tomatoes Records, distributed by Razor & Tie Entertainment, $18.98, run time 52:32) in August. Widely recognized as the most popular children's music artist in the United States, Laurie Berkner's intelligent songwriting, captivating vocals and infectious melodies have won not only legions of little fans, but also parents, who enjoy the music as much as their kids.

The Laurie Berkner Band has received tremendous critical acclaim. Time Magazine lauded Laurie as "a kind of sippy-cup Sheryl Crow...Berkner inhabits a kid's curious perspective in her lyrics and pens folk-pop melodies that bear repeated - very repeated - listenings." The Wall Street Journal called Laurie "one of the most popular children's performer's in America ... Her music is distinctive because it speaks to kids without talking down to them, charming youngsters without boring grown-ups." The Laurie Berkner Band performed on "The View" and "Live With Regis & Kelly" this year and has performed multiple times on the "Today Show."

A former preschool music teacher by day and indie rocker by night, Laurie Berkner started selling her music out of her living room on her own label, Two Tomatoes Records, and all four of her previous CDs are now best-sellers. Laurie, Susie and Adam were the first artists to ever appear in music videos on NOGGIN, Nickelodeon's 24-hour educational, commercial-free preschool network, and are featured in nearly all of the episodes of the channel's "Jack's Big Music Show." The Laurie Berkner Band's debut DVD, 'We are . . . The Laurie Berkner Band' (Two Tomatoes Records/Razor & Tie Entertainment/Starbucks Hear Music) was certified quadruple platinum.

(New York, NY) - Triple threat star Selena Gomez' single, "Tell Me Something I Don't Know," is the #1 most played song at Radio Disney and has already sold over 100,000 digital tracks. The lead single from the Razor & Tie Entertainment original motion picture soundtrack ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY is the #3 most played video on AOL Music, #14 on Music Choice's video on demand channel and has over 2 million video plays on YouTube. Selena Gomez recently appeared on NBC's The Today Show as well as ABC's The View to promote the film and soundtrack. Last week Variety proclaimed Selena Gomez "is already well on her way to becoming Disney Channel's Next Big Thing."

The soundtrack album includes 11 brand new pop and hip-hop-infused songs as performed by teen sensation Selena Gomez, recording artist Drew Seeley, and the cast of the Warner Premiere home video release, Another Cinderella Story (released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 16th). Another Cinderella Story was the #1 rental on iTunes for over two weeks, currently at #6. Drew Seeley's single, "New Classic," has also been well received and he recently performed on FOX's The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, New York's CW 11 Morning News, and Fox's Good Day New York. The video for the song debuted last week on AOL.

A high-energy, comedic twist on the classic Cinderella story, Another Cinderella Story tells the tale of a downtrodden girl, Mary (Selena Gomez), who seeks the love of charming prince, Joey Parker (Drew Seeley), a popular singer who has enrolled at Beverly Hills High School, against the wishes of her evil legal guardian (Jane Lynch).

Poised to take over the pop throne, Selena Gomez currently stars on the Disney Channel's wildly popular series Wizards of Waverly Place. Only 16 years old, she was discovered at age 12 in a Disney talent search. Gomez has starred opposite Miley Cyrus on Hannah Montana and has guest-starred on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She has been performing since she was a child, beginning her career on Barney & Friends.

Best known for his starring role in the High School Musical concert tour, Drew Seeley has also been featured on various albums including, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, DISNEYMANIA 4, THE CHEETAH GIRLS 2, JUMP IN! and RADIO DISNEY JAMS 9. Seeley co-wrote the song, "Get'cha Head in the Game," which helped propel the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL soundtrack to sell over 4 million copies and receive a nomination for an Emmy Award.

The soundtrack also features fresh tween stars poised for success, Lil' JJ and Tiffany Giardina. Lil' JJ currently stars on the Nickelodeon show Just Jordan; he was previously on All That and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. Lil' JJ won BET's comedy talent search Comin' to the Stage and has been featured in music videos by Sean Kingston and Nelly. Tiffany Giardina contributed two songs and music videos for "Hurry Up and Save Me" and "No Average Angel." At only 14 years old she has already toured with Disney's Jump 5 and has performed with Patti Labelle.

(New York, NY) - New Line Records/Razor & Tie Entertainment will release the THE CLIQUE: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK on November 11th. The 14-track album will include brand new pop songs as performed by rising pop-star Tina Sugandh and Interscope recording artist Clique Girlz, as well as The Clique star Samantha Boscarino who sings the song "Find My Place."

Stand-out tracks include "Break It Down" and "Here with Me Now." 13 tracks on the soundtrack are written and produced by Ali Dee (Dee Town), whose credits include the soundtracks for the films Alvin and the Chipmunks and Speed Racer as well as songs for popstars Mya and Shakira. The Clique is executive produced by Tyra Banks, and arrives on DVD on November 18th from Warner Home Video.

An up-close look at the contemporary life of the privileged teenager, The Clique explores the highs and lows of junior high school life, told through the elite group of socially precocious twelve-year-old girls from the wealthy suburbs north of New York City. The Clique stars a talented young cast who have appeared in some of television's most popular shows. Starring as "The Pretty Committee" are Elizabeth McLaughlin as Massie ("Ugly Betty,"), Samantha Boscarino as Alicia Rivera (The Perfect Game), Sophie Anna Everhard as Dylan Marvil ("Zoey 101") and Bridgit Mendler (Labor Pains). The Clique is based on the first book of the best-selling 'tween series by author Lisi Harrison. The ongoing series of books from Alloy Entertainment and publisher Little, Brown and Company has sold nearly 7 million copies in the U.S. and spent 187 weeks on The New York Times bestseller list. Warner Premiere plans to produce feature-length movies for the book series as a new franchise for the studio.

A Warner Premiere production, the first DVD in The Clique series is directed by Emmy Award winner Michael Lembeck (television's "Greek" "Friends," The Santa Clause 2, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause) from a script by Liz Tigelaar (television's "Dirty Sexy Money," "Brothers & Sisters," "Dawson's Creek"). Alloy Entertainment's Leslie Morgenstein ("Gossip Girl", The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2) and Bob Levy (television's "Gossip Girl," The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2) are serving as producers and Bankable Productions' Tyra Banks ("The Tyra Banks Show") and Laura Armstrong are serving as executive producers.

(New York, NY) - Now in the sixth decade of his career comes another first for legendary singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka - a Christmas music collection! On October 7th, Razor & Tie Entertainment will release THE MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS. The album will be available as a single-disc of Christmas favorites or as a special double-disc fanpack which includes a second disc of original Sedaka-penned holiday tunes.

Last year saw the release of Sedaka's THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION, a retrospective collection celebrating his 50 years in the music business. With over 24,000 units sold in its first week of release, THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION entered the Billboard Top 200 Album chart at #22, marking Sedaka's first return to the charts in 27 years. In support of the CD, Sedaka appeared in a highly successful one-hour concert special on QVC, performed on NBC's The Today Show, ABC's The View, FOX's The Mike & Juliet Show and was featured in an extensive interview on NPR's "Fresh Air".

Brooklyn-native Sedaka began his prolific career as one of the original creators of the "Brill Building" sound in the late 1950s and early 1960s when he and songwriting partner Howard Greenfield signed with Don Kirshner and Al Nevins at Aldon Music. Sedaka's first major success was after Connie Francis recorded his "Stupid Cupid." As a result of this, Sedaka signed a contract with RCA as a writer and performer of his own material. He catapulted into stardom with the recording of "The Diary". He would follow with the chart toppers "Oh! Carol," " Stairway to Heaven," "Calendar Girl," "Little Devil," "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen," "Next Door To An Angel," and "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do". Francis would achieve her greatest success performing the Sedaka/Greenfield penned title song to the 1960 MGM spring break classic, Where the Boys Are.

In the late 1960s, Sedaka had tremendous success writing for artists such as Tom Jones, The Monkees and The Fifth Dimension. In the early 1970s, Elton John signed Sedaka to his label, Rocket Records. The result was two tremendous albums (SEDAKA'S BACK in 1974 and THE HUNGRY YEARS in 1975) that produced two of his most successful worldwide hits - "Bad Blood" and "Laughter In The Rain", both of which went to #1 on the music charts. Rolling Stone Magazine hailed Sedaka as "the new phenomenon."

"Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" was re-recorded as a ballad in 1975, and made music history when it reached #1 on the charts, becoming the first song recorded two different ways by the same artist to reach #1. During this time, the Captain and Tennille had a worldwide #1 hit with their version of Neil's "Love Will Keep Us Together". The song won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year.

Neil Sedaka has been inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, has had a street named after him in his hometown of Brooklyn, and was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Neil was recently honored with a tribute at Avery Fisher Hall at New York's Lincoln Center. "Neil Sedaka: 50 Years of Hits", a benefit for The Elton John AIDS Foundation, showcased Neil's songs, with performances by Connie Francis, Dion, Paul Shaffer, Natalie Cole, Clay Aiken, Renee Olstead, and Captain and Tennille. In addition to Neil's extensive touring schedule, he has composed his first classical piece, "Joie De Vivre", which had its world premiere with the Kansas City Symphony in 2007, and included the composition on his most recent Australia Symphony Tour. Neil is currently completing a Children's CD, taking his beloved classics and adapting them for a younger audience, which is slated to be released in 2009.
