SEMI PRECIOUS WEAPONS RELEASE SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION USB JEWELRY/CD COMBO FOR DEBUT ALBUM "WE LOVE YOU"

BAND CONFIRMED FOR E!'S CHELSEA LATELY AND MTV'S MADE

(New York, NY) - New York's most outrageous rock band, Semi Precious Weapons (SPW), is set to release their debut album WE LOVE YOU on September 30th with a very special limited edition USB jewelry CD combo package.

WE LOVE YOU will be available in three formats: single CD, single CD with necklace, and double jewel case with limited edition gun USB jewelry necklace (link to photos: Semi Precious Weapons USB and CD photos). The re-writable USB will include bonus content - two full length music videos, liner notes, photos, and wallpaper. The inspiration for this comes from SPW lead vocalist Justin Tranter's hugely successful rock-inspired jewelry line, Fetty (www.thefetty.com). The line is available at Urban Outfitters, Fred Segal and Hot Topic; an exclusive high-end version is also sold at Barneys. SPW will do an in-store signing event for their new album at Barneys New York on October 21st.

"I started my jewelry line as band merchandise. It blew up and took on an amazing life of its own," explains Tranter. "Having a USB necklace that we made ourselves brings it full circle. Kunty rock n' roll jewelry that contains actual SPW rock n' roll content. It's like I made it up, it's so fabulous, but it's real!"

In other SPW news, the band will appear on E!'s much-talked about "Chelsea Lately" show on October 2nd and is also currently being filmed for MTV's "Made" set to air in November. SPW will be featured in WWD, Zink Magazine, YRB Magazine, Venus Magazine and on the cover of New York City's The Deli in support of their new release. The band will tour through the fall and are confirmed for Perez Hilton's CMJ showcase in October (tour dates listed below).

SPW recently celebrated fashion week with a much buzzed about Page Six Magazine/M.A.C. Cosmetics-sponsored party and a M.A.C. Cosmetics Garage Glam Facial contest. The lucky winner received a makeover backstage in the main tent at Bryant Park 2008 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and attended the Baby Phat fashion show with Justin Tranter.

Semi Precious Weapons is Justin Tranter (vocals), Aaron Lee Tasjan (guitar), Cole Whittle (bass), and Dan Crean (drums). Known for their eccentric and unbelievable live shows, the band has been described as "Gun Blazing bitch-rock....a hybrid of Bowiesque stage seduction and Sex Pistols" - LA Weekly. Vogue has called SPW "a hot new sound for 2008...deliciously animated." WE LOVE YOU, produced by the legendary Tony Visconti (T. Rex, David Bowie, and Morrissey), features 12 in-your-face, raw rock songs. Crowd favorites include the song "Semi Precious Weapons," which boasts the line: "I can't pay my rent but I'm f***ing gorgeous", first single "Magnetic Baby" and "Her Hair." The Guardian (in the United Kingdom) has already dubbed SPW "the most important band in America."

KIDZBOP.COM'S "BE A KIDZ BOP STAR" NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH GARNERS NEARLY 2,800 SUBMISSIONS; 15 SEMI-FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

(New York, NY) - KIDZ BOP's "Be A KIDZ BOP Star" talent search, the only such search that seeks the most talented kids in the country, announces its 15 semi-finalists. Chosen from nearly 2,800 entries to the kids' destination website KIDZBOP.com, the search received far more submissions than recent high-profile online contests sponsored by major national brands. The second annual "Be a KIDZ BOP Star" National Talent Search also received more than double the amount of submissions from last year's inaugural contest (1200).

Now it's time for kids to log on to KIDZBOP.com and vote for their favorites! In this electoral season, kids will have the sole decision-making power over the selection of the four winners, who will join their families on a once-in-a-lifetime Luxury Included Caribbean vacation to shoot a KIDZ BOP music video on site at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. Beaches Resorts, with locations in the Turks & Caicos and Jamaica, have been voted the "World's Leading Family All-Inclusive Resorts" for ten years in a row. In addition, one of the four winners from the second annual National Talent Search will be awarded their own original web series on KIDZBOP.com. Last year's talent search winners and semifinalists went on to star in such popular KIDZBOP.com original series as "Work It Out with Kendall," "What Up with Nick & Jake," and "Rockin' It Old School with Giulietta."

For the talent search, kids of all ages were invited to audition for KIDZ BOP by creating a video of themselves performing, and uploading it to the site. All submissions from the talent search were posted on the KIDZ BOP site, allowing children everywhere to share their audition videos with friends and family, watch other kids' audition videos, and even vote for themselves. In addition, randomly selected entries were also viewable on Yahoo! Kids: http://kids.yahoo.com. Semifinalists were chosen based on performance style, musical talent, star quality and personality.

The15 semi-finalists chosen by KIDZ BOP are:

Baez can be seen in October on the Charlie Rose Show and will begin a nationwide tour in support of the release (please see dates below). She is also receiving the Americana Music Association Freedom of Speech Award tonight in Nashville.

Dar Williams' first album of original material in over three years was produced by Brad Wood (Pete Yorn, Liz Phair, Smashing Pumpkins) and features 12 reflective and witty songs. Her first single, "It's Alright" continues to climb the chart at Triple A radio, currently #4 on R&R Indicator Chart and #4 on FMQB Top 200 Chart. The album features two intriguing covers; "Midnight Radio" from the acclaimed rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Fountains of Wayne's "Troubled Times." NEW YORK CITY-TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2008- All That Remains and Major League Gaming, the professional gaming league, today announced an innovative promotion that will allow fans of the band to download a track from their highly-anticipated new album, OVERCOME one week before the album's release date. The track "Chiron" will be exclusively available from www.mlgpro.com for one week starting on September 9th. OVERCOME (Prosthetic Records/Razor & Tie Entertainment) hits streets September 16th.

"From the moment we brought Phil from All That Remains into the offices of Major League Gaming, it became clear that this was more than just two companies matching demographics to reach new consumers - because Phil lives gaming the way he lives music, and knows just about everything there is to know about the field," commented Razor & Tie Entertainment Senior Vice President, Marketing, Michael Krumper. All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte added, "It's really great to be working with Major League Gaming. I'm a huge fan of the organization. Besides music, gaming is another great passion of mine and I am very happy to find a way to bring the two together."

"This deal came about through intense mutual respect and admiration between some of our biggest pros and the guys in the band," said Catherine Corry, EVP of programming and production for Major League Gaming. "The synergy between the video game lifestyle and music has been well documented and we're proud to work creatively with All That Remains to offer the single to our community to simply listen to, or use in their original video montages."

In a move to capitalize on the marriage of games and music, players are encouraged to use the music in their game play montages and send it to the MLG game room at www.gameroom.mlgpro.com. The MLG experience includes online tournaments, live events, broadcast-quality programming, and a competitive gaming social network where players and fans can express themselves through video montages, blogs, and profiles.

Two weeks ago, All That Remains frontman/die-hard video game enthusiast Phil Labonte stopped by MLG's Live Pre-Game show at the Toronto stop of the Pro Circuit on August 22, to talk with host Chris Puckett about his favorite MLG Pros, playing Halo3 on the MLG playlist, and to debut the video for "Chiron" for the MLG community. In another first, MLG's legendary team, Final Boss, will be using the All That Remains track "Two Weeks" as their theme song in MLG Pro Circuit events moving forward.
