KIDS MUSIC SENSATION KIDZ BOP RELAUNCHES FAMILY-FRIENDLY WEBSITE FEATURING ALL NEW ORIGINAL WEB SERIES - BY KIDS FOR KIDS
TALENT INCLUDES KIDS DISCOVERED ON KIDZBOP.COM
Fresh from the success of their online talent search which generated over 8 million streams, KIDZ BOP - the most popular and most recognized children's audio series in the country - will relaunch its website KIDZBOP.com on December 4th with new interactive capabilities and a bold new lineup of original web series. The shows include a number of series built around "real" kids whose user-generated videos became extremely popular during the site's recent online talent search, "Be a KIDZ BOP Star."
The line-up includes contest winner, Jake Muck, who co-stars with his buddy, Nick Venzin, in "What Up! with Nick and Jake." Other original series include "Work it Out! with Kendall," starring talent search semi-finalist, Kendall Glover; "Rockin' it Old School with Giulietta", starring semi-finalist Giulietta Whitman and "Rising Starz" which highlights additional up-and-coming talent discovered on KIDZBOP.com.
Other highlights include a customized content section dedicated to the first ever KIDZ BOP WORLD TOUR with behind-the-scenes clips from the young stars of the tour as they travel from city to city. The page will also include video diaries from the kids in the cast.
Another section, created in partnership with The Paul Green School of Rock, will feature user-uploaded performances shot at School of Rock shows. This is the first time KIDZBOP.com has partnered with a third party content provider. The Paul Green School of Rock is the original and premier performance-based rock music school in the country for kids 7-18. The school was the subject of the documentary "Rock School", which airs regularly on A&E since its debut at Sundance in 2005. It is also the apparent inspiration for the Jack Black hit comedy, School Of Rock.
SOUL MAN RYAN SHAW SHINES ON ELLEN'S PRIMETIME VARIETY SPECIAL
"ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW" BOOKING CONFIRMED FOR NEXT MONTH
Soul singer Ryan Shaw's electrifying performance was one of the highlights on Ellen Degeneres' first ever primetime variety special, "Ellen's Really Big Show". The special aired for the first time on Monday, November 19th, with multiple repeat showings on TBS this week. Shaw shined with the performance of his retro-inspired single, "We Got Love". The African Children's Choir provided choral support for the song. Other featured performers on the show included Sheryl Crow and Barry Manilow. Ellen Degeneres raved, "We had an abundance of talent to chose from like singer Ryan Shaw. He's great and very soulful." He will perform on the "Ellen Degeneres Show" on December 5th.
Shaw continues to tour across the country having recently completed stints with Joss Stone, The Derek Trucks Band and Lyrics Born. In other Ryan Shaw news, the second single from his debut album THIS IS RYAN SHAW, "Do The 45" continues to do well at radio. Shaw will be appear on Chicago's WXRT's New Year's Eve show with Collective Soul and Shawn Mullins.

SINGER/SONGWRITER DAVE BARNES' "ME AND YOU AND THE WORLD" DUE OUT APRIL 1ST
CO-HEADLINING TOUR DATES WITH MATT WERTZ CONTINUE; BARNES CONFIRMED FOR FIRST ANNUAL JOHN MAYER "MAYERCRAFT CARRIER" CRUISE
On April 1st 2008, Razor & Tie will release singer/songwriter Dave Barnes' ME AND YOU AND THE WORLD. The album features 12 tracks produced by Ed Cash (Dolly Parton, Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman). Nashville-based Barnes is currently co-headlining a tour with Matt Wertz and will kick off the new year with a slot on the first annual John Mayer "Mayercraft Carrier" cruise from February 1st-4th, 2008.
Of his music and new album, Barnes describes his sound "three ways - a punch to the face, a piledriver to the face and a kick to the shin. Okay, okay, I kid, I kid. I hope in most ways it's soulful. That's really the backbone - that you can hear my heart in it...be it fast or funky, or slow and thoughtful, I always hope you can hear my heart in there somewhere."
Armed with his guitar and sense of humor, Barnes' creates an eclectic sound of soul-infused blues-pop-rock on ME AND YOU AND THE WORLD. His soothing vocals and catchy hooks are showcased on tracks such as the first single, "Until You," the emotive ballad "On a Night Like This," and the Motown inspired "Someday." His southern roots shine on songs, "Good World Gone Bad," and the roof-raising gospel number "Carry Me Through."
A prolific songwriter, Barnes not only writes for himself but his work has been performed by other artists including Marc Broussard, Kelly Clarkson, Bethany Dillon, etc. His music has been featured in television shows such as ABC's "Brothers And Sisters" and WB's "Summerland", as well as the films "Employee Of The Month" and "My Super Ex-Girlfriend."
Barnes' two self-released albums, 2004's BROTHER, BRING THE SUN and 2006's CHASING MISSISSIPPI both garnered impressive press coverage and substantial album sales. Paste Magazine declares "Barnes is a noticeable notch above the typical acoustic guitar-toting singer/songwriter. His genuine, feel-good energy infects the crowd." He has toured extensively across the country and at festivals such as Bonnaroo. KIDZ BOP AND DODGE LAUNCH "LET THE MUSIC DRIVE YOU" PROMOTION - PUTTING KIDS IN THE SPOTLIGHT TO WIN AN ALL-NEW 2008 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN
KIDZ BOP, in partnership with the Dodge brand, is launching "Let the Music Drive You," an online contest that encourages kids to star in and produce a music video so they can enter to win an All-New family 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. Families can then upload their user-generated "Let The Music Drive You" video contest entries to KIDZBOP.com, where fans will view and rate the videos.
