SOUNDTRACK FEATURES NEW AND CLASSIC MUSIC
(New York, NY) - Razor & Tie Entertainment will release the original motion picture soundtrack ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS on November 20th. The 16-track album will include brand-squeaky new recordings and classics from the forthcoming 20th Century Fox live action/CGI motion picture, "Alvin and The Chipmunks," in theaters nationwide December 14th. The Chipmunks are back with their signature sound and modern takes on rock, pop, reggae and hip hop produced by Ali Dee (Mya, Shakira). Included among the 16 tracks are renditions of classics such as "Funkytown," "Witchdoctor," and "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)." Stand out new songs include "Get Munk'd," "Coast to Coast," "Follow Me Now," as well as a cover of the Top 40 hit "Bad Day."
A global phenomenon to generations of fans, Alvin and The Chipmunks have sold more than 43 million albums worldwide. The Grammy-winning ensemble has been a household name since 1958 when they first hit the charts with the #1 songs, "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)" and "Witchdoctor." "The Chipmunk Song" went on to sell more than 4.4 million records in just 7 weeks of release. The Chipmunks have engaged audiences for decades with animated television shows, feature films, album releases and video games.
On December 14th, ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS hits theaters everywhere as a live action/CGI motion picture event with a contemporary comic sensibility. Songwriter Dave Seville transforms singing chipmunks Alvin, Simon and Theodore into pop sensations - while the out-of-control trio lays waste to Dave's home, wreaks havoc with his career, and turns Dave's once-orderly life upside-down. The film stars Jason Lee, David Cross, Cameron Richardson, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney.

USER-GENERATED VIDEOS DROVE KIDS TO VOTE FOR THEIR FAVORITES; KIDZ BOP WORLD TOUR LAUNCHES THIS MONTH
(New York, NY) - The online votes have been tallied and four talented kids have been chosen as Grand Prize winners in the "Be a Kidz Bop Star" National Talent Search. The four winners are: Desiree Jimenez (age 11) from Virginia Beach, VA, Jacob Muck (age 13) from Splendora, TX, Jesse O'Brien (age 12) from Schwenksville, PA and Dalton Watts (age 13) from Theodore, AL. Each will get a co-starring role in an official KIDZ BOP music video and an all-inclusive family vacation at Beaches Resort and Spa in Turks and Caicos (air travel courtesy of Orbitz), where the video will be shot in November.
The "Be a Kidz Bop Star" National Talent Search, which generated over 1100 contest entries submitted by kids from around the country, announced 15 semi-finalists on September 17th. Their videos were posted on KIDZBOP.com where kids voted for their favorites. The contest quadrupled traffic on KIDZ BOP's family-friendly website (www.kidzbop.com), generating over 8 million streams of videos on the site since its relaunch in July.
Vice President, Marketing for Kidz Bop LLC Sandi Hemmerlein commented, "When running a contest that seeks user-generated content - particularly kid-generated content - you never know what you are going to get. We were pleasantly surprised at not only the quantity of entries we received, but also the quality. Kids put a lot of effort into entering this talent search and the level of talent was particularly impressive."
A phenomenon among kids 4-11 and a favorite among parents, KIDZ BOP is crossing over from CDs (10 million sold) to the concert stage with KIDZ BOP WORLD TOUR, which launches at the end of October. The tour, featuring six kids, two young adults and a rock band, will run through May '08. With the most talented kids, a live rock band, lights, dancing and more, it's the ultimate kid-friendly music event and the only rock concert where kids are the stars.
KIDZ BOP has been named the #1 children's music series from 2002 through 2006 by Billboard. The series has sold over 10 million CDs since launching six years ago, with nine Gold-certified releases. The CD series features today's most popular songs, sung by kids for kids - which lets parents enjoy the most current songs in a kid-friendly atmosphere.

"ALL THAT REMAINS VAN DRIVER" VIDEO GAME SET TO PREMIERE
ON BAND WEBSITE; GAME FEATURES SNEAK PEEKS OF DVD AND CHANCE TO WIN PRIZES
(New York, NY) - For road warriors like All That Remains, how difficult could it be to film and release their first-ever live concert DVD? As it turns out EXTREMELY difficult! The band ran into an incredulous amount of obstacles delaying the release of the DVD not once, not twice, but three times. Never ones to bow under the weight of hardship, All That Remains persevered, and the DVD is at last scheduled for a real street date of October 30th. (Live audio from the DVD will be available on digital service providers as of November 6th.)
ATR frontman Phil Labonte commented, "We are wicked pumped to be able to offer our fans a feature-packed DVD. Thanks to all the ATR fans everywhere who have waited patiently for this. It's a long time coming, and we feel like it's full of good stuff and worth the wait!"
Originally set for a summer release, the DVD was supposed to consist of the All That Remains' show at Philadelphia's The Theater Of The Living Arts, filmed in early spring. All seem to go well with the shoot, until the production company discovered that portions of audio in several songs had not been recorded. Strike one! This necessitated another shoot to correct the faulty audio. The next filming took place at Baltimore's The Recher Theater in July. This time the audio recording was successful, but unfortunately that didn't mean all was well and on schedule.
Within days of completing the reshoot, the production company filed for bankruptcy and its assets (including the entirety of the All That Remains footage) were seized by the IRS! Strike two! After a somewhat lengthy legal battle, the footage was finally recovered and the DVD's release was seemingly back on track for mid-October.
Just when it seemed unlikely that any other problems could arise...surprise, surpise - there was one more setback in store. Longtime video game devotees, All That Remains often use the music from the wildly popular game, "Halo" for their entrance during their stage show on tour. This entrance and the "Halo" music was included in the DVD. ATR's label applied for clearance of the music and were lead to believe that it would be approved, but at the last minute were denied. Strike three!
But this isn't baseball, folks. All That Remains were down, but not out. The DVD was quickly re-edited to exclude the "Halo" theme song and is finally set for an October 30th release date. WHEW!
In other ATR news, fans will soon have their very own All That Remains video game to enjoy. Housed on the band's website (www.allthatremainsonline.com), ALL THAT REMAINS VAN DRIVER will premiere next week. The game (designed by PROD) is inspired by "Spy-Hunter": the player is All That Remains' van driver and the goal is to get the band to their gig, along the way dodging roadkill, old ladies, potholes, etc. After each of five rounds the player gets to view sneak peeks of performances from the DVD. Prizes will be awarded to the players with the ten highest scores; the player with the highest score will receive a "Guitar Hero II" video game, bundled with an autographed guitar.
Released last July, THE FALL OF IDEALS is All That Remains' latest album. It has sold over 120, 000 units to date. The band continues to tour (see below for full itinerary). All That Remains' first album, BEHIND SILENCE AND SOLITUDE was just re-released with new artwork on October 9th.
