MUCH SOUGHT-AFTER SINGER KELLY SWEET INKS WITH RAZOR & TIE WORLDWIDE

(New York, NY)- Razor & Tie Entertainment has announced the signing of eighteen-year-old singer Kelly Sweet to an exclusive worldwide recording contract. Kelly has garnered significant attention and acclaim with over 500 performances to her name, including the singing of the National Anthem at Los Angeles Lakers games, as well as numerous appearances at a variety of industry events. She recently signed with Creative Artists Agency for representation.

Sweet conveys a sense of depth, intimacy and sophistication not often heard in today's pop landscape. Like such stylistically diverse artists as Norah Jones, Josh Groban and Dido, Sweet is that rare singer that combines unassailable credibility and talent with an uncanny ability to connect with a wide audience of music fans.

Sweet is currently completing her debut album to be released later in 2006. Produced and co-written by Grammy-nominated producer Mark Portmann (Josh Groban, Celine Dion), the album finds Sweet's inimitable, otherworldly voice placed against the backdrop of intimate yet powerful arrangements. Several of the tracks highlight Sweet's innate ability to sing in other languages including French, Italian and Sanskrit.

Said Razor & Tie co-heads Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam, "Kelly Sweet is a unique artist…her talent is undeniable, and her humanity and soul are evident in every song. We are honored to have her on Razor & Tie and think her future is unlimited".
