CHILDREN'S MUSIC PHENOMENON LAURIE BERKNER ENTERS BILLBOARD MUSIC VIDEO DVD CHART AT #1 WITH "WE ARE...THE LAURIE BERKNER BAND"

(New York, NY) With almost 16,000 units sold in its first week of release, acclaimed children's recording artist Laurie Berkner has entered Billboard's Music Video DVD chart at #1 with her first DVD, 'We are...The Laurie Berkner Band" (Two Tomatoes Records/Razor & Tie Entertainment/Starbucks Hear Music). A collection of 11 new music videos, "We are...The Laurie Berkner Band" is packaged with a bonus CD of five songs (including a brand-new track, her first on CD since 2002). The DVD marks the first time Starbucks Hear Music has co-released a family entertainment title.

Laurie has recently received significant media coverage and will perform on "The Today Show" on Friday, March 10th. The Wall Street Journal recently referred to Laurie's music as "distinctive because it speaks to kids without talking down to them, charming youngsters without boring grown-ups."

Laurie Berkner turned her experience as a preschool music specialist by day and rock singer by night into a career as one of the biggest names in music for families. Over the past several years, Laurie's intelligent yet accessible songwriting, warm, captivating vocals and infectious melodies have garnered regular appearances on Noggin, a national touring base and huge CD sales on her home-grown label Two Tomatoes Records, which is distributed by Razor & Tie.

RISING STAR COMIC STEVE HOFSTETTER INKS WITH RAZOR & TIE

(New York, NY) Razor & Tie Entertainment has announced the signing of Steve Hofstetter, the biggest name on the college comedy circuit, to an exclusive worldwide contract. Hofstetter is best-known for his "thinking man's" humor which spares no one; his insight on religion, politics and American culture is as enlightening as it is hilarious. Hofstetter plays upwards of 200 shows a year (both college and traditional venues) and boasts one of the best-known profiles on the college-networking website, facebook.com, clocking in with over 200,000 "friends". His own website, SteveHofstetter.com is one of the most-trafficked websites of any American standup act on the market today.

On April 4th, Razor & Tie will release Hofstetter's debut CURE FOR THE CABLE GUY, a CD and bonus DVD of a recent live show, filmed at M-Bar in Los Angeles. The riotous CD/DVD shows Hofstetter at his best, as he pokes fun at comics who rely on ignorance, apathy and racism in his own inimitable style. The title refers to comic Larry The Cable Guy, who Hofstetter views as the ultimate example of this kind of irresponsible entertainment. Hofstetter was recently named one of Two Drink Minimum magazine's "Best New Faces". He is also the host of "Four Quotas" on Sirius and is a weekly humor columnist for both SportsIllustrated.com and NHL.com.

(New York, NY) Razor & Tie, which has been setting chart records with its KIDZ BOP series, has gone back to its roots with the Top 20 debut of its latest compilation MONSTER BALLADS: PLATINUM EDITION.
