Straight off a thriving summer on the Vans Warped Tour, The Summer Set are excited to announce their first headlining tour this fall. "The Travelin' Show" fall tour will kick off at Emo's in Austin, TX on October 19th and hit venues nationwide, concluding the tour with two dates in their home state of Arizona on November 26th and 27th. Stereo Skyline, Mod Sun, and Austin Gibbs will join The Summer Set for "The Travelin' Show," with School Boy Humor and The Downtown Fiction on select dates.

"The Travelin' Show" is the perfect summation to an exciting year for the pop rock quintet. After Alternative Press named them one of the "100 Bands You Need to Know in 2010," they joined the sold out spring AP Tour which was followed by an entire run on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour in support of their album Love Like This. "We've made it this far! The Summer Set is finally doing our first headlining tour this fall and we couldn't be more excited," said vocalist Brian Dales. "This is our chance to get back to our roots and play the small clubs we haven't gotten to play in the past year. The most important thing about this tour is that we want to spend more time hanging out with you guys. Let's take this back to the beginning. Are you ready?"

The Summer Set also made an appearance at this year's Hoodwink Festival, where their set of Taylor Swift covers was recorded and released in a limited edition deluxe version of Love Like This which includes a free disc of the five Swift cover songs entitled Love Like Swift. The album is available exclusively at Wal-Mart for $10.00, and an acoustic cover video was featured on MTV Buzzworthy to preview the album. The video for "The Boys You Do (Get Back At You)," the second single off Love Like This, debuted this July while the band was on the Vans Warped Tour.

The Summer Set's edition of Alternative Press's AP Sessions debuts on September 6th on AltPress.com with a two song original performance and a bonus third song. The performance was filmed at world-renowned punk venue The Agora Ballroom in Cleveland, OH and produced by Alternative Press in association with Additive Agency and Lava Room Recording Studios.

The Summer Set was founded by the Gomez brothers, Stephen (bass) and John (guitar) and drummer Jess Bowen while the three were in school together. 2007 brought vocalist Brian Dales and guitarist Josh Montgomery, creating the lineup fans know and love today. After three successful EPs, the band signed to Razor & Tie and released their debut full-length album Love Like This in October 2009.

Dar Williams is set to release her eighth studio album, Many Great Companions, via Razor & Tie on October 12th. Many Great Companions is a new album of Dar Williams classics recorded acoustically with special guests, with an additional disc of Williams' most significant songs. Songs span Dar's impressive career from 1993's The Honest Room through 2008's Promised Land.

On Songs Revisited With Guitar and a Few Friends, Dar re-records 12 classic songs from her extensive catalogue, all performed acoustically. She's joined by several fellow musicians and friends on the new versions, including Sean and Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Patty Larkin, Motherlode, and Gary Louris of the Jayhawks who also produced the album. The second disc, Best of Dar Williams, is not just a compilation, but rather a journey through Dar's career. Listeners are able to follow Dar as she transforms from a folk singer just starting out to the seasoned musician she is today.

Many Great Companions showcases classic Dar Williams in a remarkably unique way, different than anything the songstress has ever put out before. Dar's personal and artistic growth can be seen throughout her career, and this album is the perfect summation of her natural evolution. Vanna has signed to the Artery Recordings roster, the new joint venture between The Artery Foundation and Razor & Tie. Based out of Boston, the melodic hardcore band is set to release a new digital EP, The Honest Hearts EP, on October 12th. Vanna is the sixth band to join Artery Recordings since the label was founded in late 2009.

Prior to joining the Artery family, Vanna previously released two full length albums and an EP while signed to Epitaph Records. The boys from Boston are excited about their new home at Artery Recordings. Vocalist Davey Muise stated, "Artery really caught a vision for who we are and where we want to go. It feels like such a great fit, and with Razor & Tie on board we are looking forward to our future and where the road will take us."

A new version of "Trashmouth," off of Vanna's 2009 album A New Hope, has been re-recorded for The Honest Hearts EP featuring the vocals of Davey Muise who joined the band after their original vocalist parted ways shortly after the album's release. The video for "Trashmouth" will premiere in September, and showcases the mischievous nature the band has become known for through their "Tough Life" videos they have been creating for the past two years. The semi-monthly webisodes are filmed and edited by Vanna, and feature the band in an array of different situations on the road, while recording, or just hanging around. The "Tough Life" series has over 40 videos to date with over 300,000 total views on their official YouTube channel.

Vanna will join fellow Artery Recordings labelmates Chelsea Grin on the Ghostbustour, kicking off this fall. Iwrestledabearonce, Eyes Set To Kill, and The Chariot round out the tour's lineup, which will run from mid September through late October, hitting venues nationwide. Vanna recently finished a run on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour during which they also headlined off dates with Kid Liberty and We Are Defiance.

All That Remains will release For We Are Many, on of the most anticipated metal albums of the year, on October 12th through Prosthetic Records / Razor & Tie. The album was recorded this spring at Zing Studios in Massachusetts and produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, who also handled This Darkened Heart and The Fall Of Ideals. Vocalist Phil Labonte told Revolver Magazine in their August issue, "Fans of Overcome won't be disappointed, but the disc will also offer new twists and turns." 2008's Overcome, All That Remains' last studio album, has sold nearly 240,000 copies to date, debuting at #16 on the Billboard 200, and yielding the Top 10 active rock smash "Two Weeks."

While fans wait for the new album, they can find several of their favorite songs from the band's latest album Overcome on the Rock Band Network for the Xbox Marketplace. The songs that are now available for download are "Days Without," "Undone," and "Forever In Your Hands."

The five-piece metal band is Phil Labonte (vocals), Oli Herbert (guitar), Mike Martin (guitar), Jeanne Sagan (bass) and Jason Costa (drums). Prior to For We Are Many, the band has released four albums, selling over 650,000 records to date. All That Remains will be touring with As I Lay Dying and Unearth in September and October. International recording star Angelique Kidjo has made 2010 her year. The first single off her album, "Move On Up," is a passionate cover of Curtis Mayfield's 1970 hit featuring Bono and John Legend. Originally recorded with only Legend, the duo will team up once again to perform with The Roots on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon July 27th for a memorable performance. She went back to her musical roots and inspirations on her April 2010 Razor & Tie release, OYO, a collection of original songs combined with covers of classics all infused with her distinctive international sound.

The duo recently performed "Move On Up" to a worldwide audience during the FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Angelique Kidjo performed as part of a lineup that included the Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Vusi Mahlasela, Amadou and Mariam and others as the world celebrated the first-ever FIFA World Cup held on the continent of Africa. The concert was shown on broadcast television and streamed on Vevo.com

On March 30th, Angelique Kidjo took part in Apple's "Live From SoHo" series. She performed a free show at the Apple store in SoHo open to the public, which was recorded and now being released as a live EP. "iTunes Live From SoHo: Angelique Kidjo" is a six song live EP available July 6th exclusively on iTunes.

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 12:35 EST on NBC. Fallon is the third host of Late Night, replacing Conan O'Brien in March 2009. Renowned hip hop neo-soul band The Roots are Late Night's house band. The Roots is comprised of Questlove (drums), Black Thought (MC), Owen Biddle (bass), James "Kamal" Gray (keyboards), Frank "Knuckles" Walker (percussion), Kirk "Captain Kirk" Douglas (guitar) and Damon "Tuba Gooding Jr." Bryson (saxophone).

Norma Jean's Meridional is certainly living up to its buzz. The band's widely-acclaimed new album debuts impressively at #44 on Billboard's Top 200 on sales of 9,819. In addition the album comes in at #6 on the Hard Music chart, #15 on the Rock chart, #34 on the Digital Albums chart and #2 on the Contemporary Christian chart.

Meridional has been the recipient of some of the highest critical acclaim given to any heavy rock album this year. Alternative Press declared the album "Norma Jean's first true masterpiece," while Revolver gave it four stars saying it "hits plenty hard," and Decibel called it "career defining" and that their "songwriting has never been stronger."

Atmospheric rock band The Graduate will release their new album, Only Every Time, on August 31st. The album will be the first since the band signed to Razor & Tie in May 2010. Only Every Time was recorded in Baltimore where they worked with Brian McTernan, who produced several of the tracks that resulted in The Graduate's signing to Razor & Tie.

The album will be released August 31st at retailers nationwide as well as all digital service providers. Vocalist Corey Warning expressed his view on the album when he said, "We do see this album as an evolution of sorts. I think about bands that make the same record over and over again, and it has to be boring for them - and even more for the listener. We made sure we didn't do that on this record." While Only Every Time has the atmospheric feel for which The Graduate is known, it is definitely a different album than anything they have previously recorded.

Produced by Brian McTernan, who has previously worked with artists such as Thrice, Circa Survive, and Cave In, Only Every Time was recorded at McTernan's Baltimore based studio, Salad Days Studio. Throughout the recording process, the idea of loneliness and being lost was consistently coming up, which is how the intriguing album artwork came to fruition. Artists Josh Kenyon and Colby Nichols, known as Jolby, discussed the feelings of being lost with Corey and came up with an icon that they felt represented the overall identity and feel of the album.

The Graduate will hit the road once again this August for a month of dates with The Bigger Lights. They will then join Ludo, off of Razor & Tie Music Publishing's roster, for a two month nationwide tour throughout September and October kicking off in Chicago on September 9th and ending in Milwaukee on October 15th.

Formed in 2005, The Graduate is Tim Moore (drums), Corey Warning (vocals), Matt Kennedy (guitar/keys), Max Sauer (guitar), and Jared Wustenberg (bass).
